Dogma (DVD 2002)

I love this film because I am a big fan of Kevin Smith films such as Clerks and Chasing Amy. It has a great cast including Ben Affleck, Matt Damon, Alan Rickman and Chris Rock. If you are a fan of Jay and Silent Bob you won't go wrong with this film. I highly reccomend it if you like films that are a bit daft but really funny and you want a watch that you don't have to take too seriously.

I have seen this film a few times on Video and now have got the DVD. It is a great comedy with an interesting topic. It has loads of big names in it and is one of the funniest films i have seen.

I love this film because it is hillarious; especially the religious jokes, and I am religious. Not only that, Jay and Silent Bob are legends!

This is a wonderful comedy which sees angels Matt Damon and Ben Affleck trying to return to heaven after being thrown out centuries earlier. While it does poke fun at religion, it is done in a manner that is obviously tongue in cheek. It's laugh out loud funny, with a fabulous cast including Chris Rock, Salma Hayek and (my personal favourite) Alan Rickman. It has everything; sensitive moments, action, bits that make you think and good vs evil.
If you are easily offended it's probably best to steer clear, but otherwise give it a go.

I bought it for a present and luckily it came in amazing condition! not a scratch! in fact, i dont even think it had been watched! Great film too, funny as anything! such a shame it was discontinued! :(

Dogma is a witty, funny film- with great performance's from Chris Rock, Jason Mewes and Alan Rickman.
Since I first saw it I knew I had to own it.

I absolutely love this film! One of Kevin Smith's masterpieces, with a fantastic ensemble cast which unexpectedly, fit really well together. A lot of people think that DOGMA is blasphemous but I don't think that is the intension. Probably not a good idea to watch it if you are a devout Roman Catholic, as it questions some of the ideas and beliefs held by the majority of Catholics.

All in All, 10/10!!!

I just love this film , I had it on video and my video player has just stopped working, so am replacing the films I love and have on vid - ratherthan replacing the player. Kevin Smith the director of Clerks, Mall Rats et al - does a wonderful job with this movie. Jay and Silent Bob at their finest and Ben Affleck and Matt Damon in top form and having fun to boot.
If you are fanatically religious - you may possibly hate it - watch it with an open mind and enjoy. There is nothing i don't like about this film. It was a bargain and i an very happy with it.

By a fluke I caught this movie on tv late one night. Very very unusual for me as I rarely watch films twice, but I just had to buy this for myself! I was delighted to find it on Ebay after trawling the shops.

Get some mates around, have a few drinks and a laugh watching this...but watch out for the Jobbie monster!

my daughter had been looking for this dvd for ages , she then found out it had been discontinued. we were both delighted to find it on e bay. brilliant film love it
