A visceral horror about a squad of British soldiers on a routine training exercise in the wilds of Scotland. Their greatest worry is missing the football until they stumble upon Captain Ryan - the sole survivor of a Special Operations team literally torn to pieces. Ryan refuses to reveal the secret of his mission even though whoever ate his men is keen for second helpings.
Luckily local girl Megan leads them to a deserted farmhouse deep in the forest, but when they realise that this is home to a pack of vicious werewolves it's apparent their nightmare has only just begun. Sean Pertwee stars as the sardonic sergeant, with Kevin McKidd as the heroic private and Liam Cunningham as the utterly twisted Ryan. With only each other to rely on, the battle between men and monsters is also a battle amongst themselves - in which loyalty, bravery and ingenuity is truly put to the test.

hooray for werewolves

the howling and the american werewolf in london are really the only werewolf movies that have really stuck out in the last 20 years (god i'm getting old). we've had a few others that were ok. i am not talking about the underworld films just pure werewolf flicks.
AT LAST a great werewolf movie that keeps you on the edge of your seat and laughing too, what a great combination. the black humour is fantastic and in just the right places the gore and action is spot on and directed perfectly.
i am sick to death of seeing vampire films all the time (with the exception of 30 days of night) so to finally get a truly great werewolf film is awesome and surprisingly its a brit film.
top marks.

Good film, has obviously had some input from real soldiers with regard to the parlance during filming. Some good throw away lines, like "fetch" are to be looked out for. The action and the humour is lively throughout the film. The plot line is tried but not tired and there is a twist in the tail; though it is relatively predictable. Overall the film is a good buy for a boring night on TV when you want some humour and dont like "Friends"!

Great british horror with some really original one line line gags. Keeps you on the edge of your seat but it's not scarey. If you liked Dusk till Dawn when it came out then you'll love this one.

Sean Pertwee (son of John Pertwee/Doctor Who) Plays the role of an officer in charge of a band of soldiers on opp's in a northern forest.
They are attacked by Wherwolves and they have to fight to stay alive.
A good film with some real jumpy moments. Not the strongest action film but great for time out. Great SFX.
I think this will become a cult film in time.

I like Neil Marshall as a director, I think his films can be thrilling but also funny at times. This film is no exception. I think the main reason I love this fim is because it is British. I mean you wouldnt have an American action film where they sit down for a brew half way through, or have a punch up with a wearwolf.
In conclusion this is one of my favorite films that you can watch again and again 5*

The film is flippin good in the way they make the warewolves look so lanky and real! There are some scenes that are flipping gorey, but the whole plot and action is fun to watch, so sit back and enjoy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Daft but scaryIf you like werewolf films you'll like this one, a modern werewolf tale. I didn't go for the macho posturing by the soldiers but if you can get past that you will be grabbed until the end. Sean Pertwee is good, but Kevin McKidd is fantastic. I know some people will roll about laughing throughout bit if you can just suspend your disbelief for a bit, enjoy the ride.

This is brillient, if you like werewolf films you should like this too. A group of soldiers are sent on an exercize in Scotland which soon turns into a mission when they discover the remains of a unit that looks like it has been torn apart, the soldiers then have to hunt down those responsible for this but soon realise that they become the hunted.

When i first joined the army and went out on my first exercise i thought of this film lol just imagen if it had come true while i was out there.
This film is fantastic and the main reaseon is that it's BRITISH HORROR!!! And us BRITS make the best horror film's in my book. It's all so funny as well but will not spoil it for those who have not seen it.
This is a great DVD to add to your collection, dont miss out on it.

Dog SOLDIERS !!i decided to buy this dvd i watched it when i was young and it was. well back then there wasent no cgi i thought the dogs where real if you like werewolfs you will love this its nothing like a werewolf movie realy its got a good story line a intense horror feel and sum big freaky dogs buy this dvd you wont realy regret it .!

This is one of my favorite (tongue in cheek horror) films it has'nt got the most gore or the best special effects but its has some quite scary parts & some really funny parts. Which for me makes this an enjoyable movie.
