Doctor Who - Series 3 - Complete (DVD)

After pricing this in most high street stores, the price was averaging aroung the £70 mark. After seriously concidering buying i decided to try online on the offchance i could buy it cheaper.

I logged into ebay and put in the title above, and the first entry it came up with was the one i bought. Nearly £25 of a difference. Now thats what i call a result!!! I was delighted.
o i purchased it for my young son who is the fan, and he was overjoyed to add it to his other colection of doctor who dvd's. comes in a lovely collector's edition hologram box. a must for any fan!

what to say doctor who only seen bits of this season but im sure this is goin to be awesome going round in a tardis every mans dream to do

As a huge fan of Doctor Who, I've wanted to own all the box sets for a while and I wasn't dissapointed with this latest edition.
As well as the great episodes, there are lots of extras that are worth the purchase, especially the out-takes, studio tour and David Tennant's video diaries which have become the 'norm' for these DVDs(although it now being series 3 he is starting to get a bit jaded with it all!!)
I found the cut-down Confidential series that came with this (13 episodes) a great watch too.
Unfortunately, the printed literature that comes with the DVD has obviously been rushed out, or not checked for spelling, as the foreword contains so many typos-it's almost comical, but still worth the buy!!!!!!
All in all GREAT!

I am biased so feel free to ignore these hyperactive ramblings but this is by far the best FAMILY entertainment out there at the moment. In this series we get John Simm as The Master, Dalek's in New York, and Blink which is one of the very best Who episodes ever. Bought it as I am collecting the Series 1 -4 of Doctor Who as I think both Christopher Eccleson and David Tennant are great.

This is Doctor Who at his best. A must have for all you Whovians out there.
This is where the Doctor meets Martha Jones. She really is quite different to Rose Tyler. David Tennnant is at his best in this, his second series. The plots, the special effects, Costumes, the music and of course the magnificent Captain Jack Harkness all make this one of the best series so far.
So stop messing about and get this today. A must watch for the whole family.

I'm a massive Doctor Who fan from the Classic Series right up to the newer Series of today.

Can I say what a massive thank you goes out to the BBC for producing such quality & drama in Doctor Who, David Tennant makes a Fantasic Doctor & Freema as Marth Jones makes a Fantasic companion to The Doctor in Series Three.

The Master's return in the final three episodes was good to see "but" he need a beard like Roger Delgardo did in the Jon Pertwee era my all time favourite Doctor he is.

Anyway all three series of Doctor Who is a must buy on DVD Box Set

Cant imagine why you would be reading this as I assume interested buyers are aware of how good this is. If you are not, start with series 1 with CHRISTOPHER eCCLESTON. i HAVE HAD A COUPLE OF WHISKIES AND HAVing difficulties with my caps lock. enjoy

Been a dr who fan for years and i am fast becoming a fan of david tennant. From watching all the past doctors i really believe tennant to be the best of all the rest.

I would love to have given you a review on this but I NEVER GOT IT, OR MY MONEY REFUNDED. I would advise people to be very careful.

This is an absolute must have for any sci/fi , comedy , great tv FAN !!!
I am a really big doctor who fan and decided that i didnt want to wait until they show the re runs on bbc as and when they choose to . I wanted to have the doctor who collection at home ready for me when i wanted to watch them not when the bbc decide to show them . I think that David Tennent is an absolutely terific actor and the doctors role really suites him and he is a fantastic doctor !! Freema Aygeman is really good as martha jones as well , but for me no one can beat billy piper as rose tyler , thats my opinion any way .
I would recommend doctor who to anyone and every one , so buy this wonderful dvd boxset , get comfy on the sofa with some tasty popcorn and enjoy !!

Yet another brillant season from the makers of doctor who. What elso does anyone need to say. The cast put in another brillant performance, the writer wrote some brillant episodes in this season like Blink.

It was perfect. It came fast and it was practically brand new when it came. It cost less than it would have from other places so I was very happy with it. I would gladly but more things from this seller as i trust them now that what they sell is good things that come fast. Excellent.

I LOVE this show and everything about it. Wanted to get the boxed set last Christmas and shops ran out, so I waited and saved until I could get it here. Is a great show to watch and I was delighted with the service I received.

The best part? David Tennant all the way, especially the conversation between him and Captain Jack!

It was a birthday present for my daughter and it was a fantastic gift.
It has well and truly been watched. Over and Over etc. Although we have watched the series before purchasing the dvd set. It was well worth the money. The extra footage on each dvd is enjoyable and enlightening, especially if you are a big fan of the series.

The person who sold me this item was excellent, but the item itself I am not particularly fond of. The first two series of Doctor Who are amazing and David Tennant as the Doctor is the most brilliant casting i've ever known. However, series three was a huge disappointment in that the storylines were dull and Martha was a terrible replacement for Rose. I bought series three because I am a collector of Doctor Who and I adored series four and eagerly anticipate the box set so having all series but number three would seem very odd. The only thing I can praise series three for is David Tennants performance, may he remain the Doctor for a long time to come!!!
