I love this DVD, the main reason I brought it was because I love the series and Martin Clunes and the cast are just brillant.The series has a mixture of everything, its got a bit of comedy and drama and has some loveable characters that you sometimes cannot help feeling sorry for. Just cant help but love that grumpy doctor. But I also love the views of Port Issac in Cornwall and go on holiday there a lot. So everynow a then its nice to catch a glimpse of the place.

) I liked this film from day one. It is a film you can watch again and again. thats why i brought the film, so i can watch it as and when i like.Its a movie the family can watch together.
I like Helen Mirren and julie Walters and they make the movie. I think the theme of the movie has been treated with a lot of understanding. The film has a serious theme yet is so funny. Put the movie on, sit back and have a good laugh, and cry. I recommend it to anyone who is down in the dumps.
You know the idea with tears running down your face,and i am sure there are quite a few that have wiped their eyes at the end of a movie and said i really did enjoy that. Great stuff lets have more like this.

) I bought this dvd for my husband as we watched the first series on tv and loved it. It´s a touch of old fashioned village life with loads of comedy and touching moments. There are loads of different quirky characters and we can never wait for the next episode. Good old british tv, as we live in Germany its a really good reminder of what we are missing. Carry on writing these kind of series, please.

Second series of a modern classic - compelling
) Having bought the first series and watched the second series on TV, I had to also buy the second series on DVD.
The storyline continues amongst the stunning scenery and colourful characters of Portwenn, with Clunes as disgruntled as ever and causing havoc where ever he goes. I have found this DVD both hilarious and addictive. Running time is approx 375 minutes.
