Disturbed - The Sickness (CD 2000)

Bought this on the strength of two tracks ('Down With The Sickness' and 'Stupify'), and have not been dissapointed with the rest of the album. One slight criticism is it can be a bit samey, but 'Mad' David Draiman has an excellent voice, changing from a staccato bark to a powerful baritone in the blink of an eye. Dan Donegan's riffs are impressive and inventive, however not as accomplished as on follow-up 'Believe'. If you like your metal straightforward, this album wont dissapoint. If you dont like your metal, or prefer something more challenging to listen to, still give this a try.

my 2nd favourite album in my collection from one of the greatest bands ever, a must have metal cd although i wish i had bought the bonus track edition :( Plus it featured down with the sickess, on of the best songs eva :D

This is a good album. It suits my music tastes nicely. Most of the songs are loud rock songs. No Ballads on this album. I particularly liked the song "Shout 2000", was a great cover.

I heard about Disturbed from a friend, downloaded a few tracks to listen to them, could not believe how great they sounded on the first listen, so I downloaded a few more, still great and getting better, so I decided I had to own all of their music in CD form. I have not heard a bad track yet. I am still waiting for delivery of one more album INDESTRUCTABLE. They are the only band other than AC/DC of which I can say I like everything they make. Brilliant.

I heard few song from this album before on radio and TV , than decided to pick bargain on E-Bay and I am not dissapointed -
every song is great , mayby a bit same , just do not listen to much , or you'll get Sick :-)

it was for charity,there was nothing i didn't dislike oh yes just bit loud for me thats all really,it was for my 21 yr old son on his shopping list for xmas presents, quick delivery well packed great seller, had couple more cds i bid for but didn't win added to favourite sellers

well,i originally had this item,but lost it.so i decided to buy it again,but this time on ebay.i got it used which was cheaper.as soon as i heard the first song start it brought back memories.i was so happy.it plays perfectly and that was what was important.i could have bought this new in the high street,but what is the point.everything i wanted was here for me.
