I love this album , it sounds fantastic and is surely one of the best live albums ever produced. If you were unsure of Dire Straits before then check this out , you will be hooked. Class.

I bought this cd for a friend because we love Dire Straits and he had lost his copy and wanted to replace it. Buying on eBay is cheaper than the shops.

) This is just the best live album ever! I have it on vinyl, cassette and now CD. If you are a Dire Straits fan this is the next best thing to "being there" If you are not a Dire Straits fan, you will be after hearing ALCHEMY!

Dire Straits-Alchemy- LiveThis is an Album that should be on any ipod, any CD changer and everyones collection. Pure class. Quality tones. Knoffler and Co, take you on a wave of enjoyment, teasing and edging you towards auphoria. I love this album. I have it on 12", tape and now CD.

This whole double cd set is fantastic - not a weak moment at all.
Highlight for me is the guitar solo ant the end of "Tunnel Of Love" - simply one of the most wonderful pieces of music I have ever heard.

This is one of my all time favourite CD's, period. Forget all the studio albums for just one second, and concentrate on this. From the magnificent opening of "Once upon a time in the West" to the final song from Local Hero "Going Home" - this CD has everything. Watch out for Knopfler at his best during "Sultans of Swing", and also Terry Williams immense drumming through the cracking "Telegraph Road". If you like Dire Straits, you simply have to own this album. 5 out of 5 - ALWAYS!

Belive it or not Dire Straits did exist before Brothers in Arms came along. This CD from the mid 80's shows how good they were at rocking an arena. Of course a lot of the sound is down to Mark Knopfler but he is backed up with some good musicians. My personal highlights are Tunnel of Love and Sultans of Swing.

dire straits alchemy "live"i owned this record years ago,but it got worn and torn. I found it on cd and it is as just as good if not better second time round.the atmosphere the sound, makes you feel like you are there at the concert.some of the best songs this band wrote are live and pure i give it 100%.
