I find the humour of this series to be gentle but good enough to make you burst out laughing. I think Julie Waters as "Bren's" mum is outstanding and I find that Victoria Wood has that "Acorn Antiques" way of delivering her lines. I've loved this comedy since it was first released and now I have the series on DVD, I can watch it again and again.

good delivery time a day after i ordered it sealed perfect. is a xmas pressie so dont know the quality of the dvd yet hope my nanna likes it perfect pressie great price.

Great light hearted comedy
) I love the light heartedness of this comedy and more to the fact it is aimed at the northern part of England as the in jokes come thick and fast!!
I think it has a great heart string pull as you feel for most of the characters in this show.
The Cast in this show is really fab and think the stars suit their characters. Never found out why Twinkle is called this name. Maybe should have been the other way round for Anita as she is so dizzy in this show but funny.
Plus Victoria Wood is from Bury my home town so cant say more than please make more like this
