Desperate Housewives - Series 2 - Complete (DVD)

I bought this to fill in the blanks of the ones I'd missed on TV and therefore fill in the missing links in the storylines between series 1 and 3. I certainly was't disappointed. Absolutly excellent is the only way to describe it. Yes, the stories are still as far fetched as you can get before being totally absurd, but hay, isn't that why we all love it?!

I completely missed Desperate Housewives on TV; it just did not appeal. I assumed that it was not aimed at a 50+ male demographic!

My wife invested in Series 1 box set and I became hooked. I love each of the characters for different reasons and although most males look fondly at Eva Longoria, I have taken to Marcia Cross in a big way - she's gorgeous.

The character acting is super, the storylines keep it alive and interesting and the direction, score, production etc etc are top notch. Roll on November 07 and Series 3 on DVD!!

Again, absolutely fantastic! Every bit as good as the 1st season (you do need to have watched season 1 to appreciate this follow-up series) and this time around you are already familiar enough with the Housewives & residents of Wisteria Lane to really get into the juice of their lives, instead of being |"introduced" to all the characters. FANTASTIC, nothing better than a glass of wine & an episode of Desperate Housewives after a long day!

This film is not only a drama but a comerdy as well ! Pure brillance ! The story is set in whisteria lan , a place many of us can only dream on living and the five women that live there ! Eva , a model , is in a unhappy marriage and longing afterter excitment.Bree lives for perfection but when things start to chnage , will she ? Lenette has 4 children to look after , a loving husband but was it really worth giving up a high flying caree for ? Ediee , she gets any man she wants and susan has been less lucky in lveo but is that about to chnage when new man Mike walks onto the street ? The only problem is is whisteria lane , everyone has secrets !

desperate housewives is a gripping series which has viewers on the edge of their seat, with so many twists and turns, just when you think youve figured out the plot then something else comes up and messes up your theory. as soon as youve watched episode youre straight onto the next one cos you just cant wait to find out the secrets of wisteria lane!!

Great story lines, can't wait to see the next episode. Wouldn't have thought I would like it but I love it!

Firstly i am desperate housewives mad so i only wanted the very best. I received my dvds today which is only 2 days after i won them. They are secondhand but in perfect condition. I was kept informed by the seller as to when they would be arriving. fantastic seller, i will be buying again

After watching the first four series on channel 4, i decided to get the dvds so i could re-watch the scams that the wives get upto.
Once i watched the dvd i realised how much more fun they seemed with the bonus extras and without the adverts.
I have talked numerous people into watching the housewives and yet to hear a bad word said about the brilliant story writing.
I recommend the whole series to anyone. A real must-see.

Picking up where the first left off, the show's second season finds each character in a state of turmoil. Having lost her husband, Bree uses white wine as a tool for coping with her conniving son and psychopath suitor. Meanwhile Gabrielle ponders whether or not to have a baby, Lynette shakes up her marital dynamics by going back to work, and Susan attempts to move on from Mike. The season also adds several new characters to the mix, including new Wisteria Lane resident Betty Applewhite (Alfre Woodard). And as everybody knows, new neighbours bring new mysteries. What, for example, are those strange sounds coming from Betty's basement?

i love desperate housewives because it is a really good programme and very entertaning. also when you watch this you are always wanting to see more!!

A must have for any serious Desperate housewife fan. An excellent way to revisit those twisting plots, and imaginative storylines. All this plus some fabulous extras sure to give you hours of viewing pleasure, displayed in a colourful boxset

Ver late postage, but very good quality dvds. I bought them because they were of reasonble price and good quality. But if I had known postage was to be this late, I wouldnt have bothered as I bought them as a present for a friend and when they got here, the party was over.

Completely addictive. Funny, surprising and touching. One of the all-time great series, with much more universal appeal than the title might suggest!

It was good. a good sequal to the first series but the first series is a million times better. watching the 3rd series just now.

i loved yhis series. evrything about the wives is great they are all so different its weird to think that they are all best friends the secrets they have are so unreal but im religious to it now i have to watch them all!!!!

Was desperate to watch series two after just finishing series one but could rent it from no where and didn't want to waste £55 in a shop. Was delighted to received it for a good price and am so glad that I can now watch it! The product in good condition am and overall happy about everything.

After being a big fan of desperate housewives series 1, i decided to buy desperate housewives series 2. Not as amazing as the first series but still brilliant. Recommend it to anyone (mainly women).
