Beautiful album, follow up to 'Innocent Eyes'

Mistaken Identity is the second album from talented Australian singer/songwriter, Delta Goodrem. It's the follow up to the phenomanally successful Innocent Eyes and is just as good, if not better. Filled with strong tracks such as 'Electric Storm' and 'Last Night On Earth', this album was penned shortly after Delta's recovery from Hodgkins Lymphoma, a form of cancer that attacks the lymphatic system. This album represents the colours she experienced in such a beautiful way, 'Extraordinary Day' pinpointing the day she was diagnosed. Also includes the successful duet with Brian McFadden, 'Almost Here'.
I have owned Mistaken Identity since it's day of release in November 2004. There's songs everyone can connect to, from the emotional and raw 'Fragile' to self-explanatory 'Be Strong'. The album is not as dark as it could have been, considering the timing and is very easy to connect with if given a chance. Only fault really, is that the haunting track 'Nobody Listened' was a hidden track included on the Australian version of this album and no others. Some may also say the duet, 'Almost Here' disrupts the flow somewhat, but it is still a beautiful song.
All in all, a fantastic album. I'm one of many eagerly anticipating a follow-up.
