Magnificent laptop, the best mobile technology by far

It's chunky, has a massive power brick and is matched by excellent performance. The screen is fantastic, as is everything else about the specification. Could do with a couple more USB ports, perhaps the relocation or duplication of other ports, and keyboard doesn't always register keypresses if lightly touch typing. Otherwise, it's a dream!

I hesitated between a Desktop Computer and a laptop. I was in favour of a Desktop model, because it's much easier upgradeable than a laptop. My wife insisted on buying a laptop.
The only thing we could do is buying a laptop that has not to be upgraded for a couple of years. It was easy to find : the XPS M1730 is really a good laptop, wonderful , even if you want to play sometimes at a recent computer game.
It's very silent, very fast, and inside his nice belly everything you might need : a dual 8800GTX SLI, 2 HDD, a blueray writer, etc : I won't need to buy another machine the next ten years. And DELL is made in excellent quality, so I can expect from this machine to stand alive for these next ten years.
The only thing we could do is buying a laptop that has not to be upgraded for a couple of years. It was easy to find : the XPS M1730 is really a good laptop, wonderful , even if you want to play sometimes at a recent computer game.
