Dell are very good machines on the hole, I personaly find the dell 1300 a very nice upto date machine and upgardes on memory are very reasonable. The reason I purchase my machine was because the motherboard on mine was faulty and the one for sale had a damaged screen so I swapped both over all in about 40 minutes from start to finish.
good wide screen and great for any film watching while out and about.
