This has got to be the Best Film this Year!
I have watched this film twice already and it will definitely be on my Top Pile for along time.
Denzel Washington as ever does the Film Proud with his Fantastic Acting in this Remarkable and Well Thought out Film.
Doug (ATF) police is now involved in an Explosion Investigation more than he realises. He is now working with FBI in a Top Secret investigations Lab that uses Time Shifting Surveillance. But will Doug Calling beable to change the Past and Solve this Case????
FANTASTIC Without a Doubt! You will not be Disappointed with this Movie.

The trailer is very misleading, but when you get into the film, it unravels itself brilliantly. The title itself suggests some sort of improbable breaking of time barriers or something supernatural, and to an extent, thats what we get. Even if there are plot inconsistencies and everything they suggest is false, the film is exciting, thrilling and full of suspense.

The film plunges you straight into the action. Within 10 minutes, the audience is already engaged in excitement and shock. Whilst the introductions and themes of the film play out (a tad bit long), one wonders when the bits in the trailer will be shown... No pain no gain right? With all that out the way, the film throws scenes and scenes of action at you.

Overall, the film is intriging and full of suspense, having you guessing from beginning end. Despite certain unrealistic explanations, how many films DO make sense nowadays? At the end of the day, it IS a film, and not a bad one! The cast is good, with Denzel washington as lead, resuming his usual role as action/thriller cop/goodie and doesnt disappoint.

8/10 One of the GOOD films amongst all the rubbish we get on our screens nowadays.

I have watched this film a couple of times and each time ive stated "what a brilliant Film" I really enjoyed it, D. Washington is a fantastic actor and has the part nailed, Plenty of action, plenty of "oh my god" A film you wont regret watching.

I thought the DVD was excellent, kept you guessing the whole way through. Fantastic plot, script writers deserve a medal!

Denzel Washington really is at his best in this absolute action packed thriller. This is one of those films which you simply MUST have in your collection. Amazing film.

Deja Vu is a fast paced sci-fi thriller. Our hero does some time travelling using the latest militairy technology. He has to prevent a major disaster from happening and at the same time save the girl of his dreams from her unfortunate fate. Full of plot holes but highly entertaining.

told by many people its good but very mind googling
i watched it and thought yes it was mind googling but i like those films so it made sense quicker...
but due to me being a film geek there are much better films out there.
so its a bit average!

it is such a great movie, really attention grabbing. i bought it because i loved it so much, i had to add it to my collection.

Great film - beautifully filmed, lit and directed. New Oreans is a great film location and this film really captures it wonderfully.

The acting is great - the leads, Washington (cool, calm, collected), Patton (beautiful) and Caviezel (sinister) are great and the supporting characters help to build a good cast - Even Val Kilmer.

The story and the way the time travel is handled is superb - I am a sci fi fan so this suited me perfectly. Yes there are some wtf moments but this is a great film, where they use some new government technology to catch a "perp" after the act / before the act...

Just watch it!

This was a good moden action, drama and science fiction all rolleed in to one.

Excellent film. A most enjoyable plot, was disappointed at the end, the plot lost some of its credibility as the main character seems to have escaped death in a most implausable way. Never-the-less a good watch. AAP

Excellent buy, speedy delivery, will shop here again. Price was unbelievable. Really good quality, enjoyed the film which I have already seen before, but I have my very own copy so that I can now watch it at my leisure.

What a great film - great story/direction/production - right up my alley - wasn't so sure at first but boy did the story build.

Without a shadow of a doubt I can proudly say this has to be the BEST film i have seen in ages, I have now watched it about 4 times now and I still want to watch it again! Its a must have for your collection. We all know how powerful Denzel Washington is with playing a strong minded and emotional character and this film is no exception.

After an explosion on a ferry carrying passengers of all ages, Doug (played by Denzel Washington) becomes involved in the investigation to find the culprit.

He then continues his search with the FBI in a lab that uses satellite surveillance to be able to view events in the past. Can the past be changed to prevent murder in the future?? You simply must watch the film to find out. I guarantee there will be no disappointment, especially with the twists and turns.

One of the best films ever! This film for me was just one of those films I chose on my rental list as it flashed up in the corner. I just added it like anyone does to fill up the list and a week after it came through the door.

And Whoa, what a film, I actually think its the best film ive seen in 2007 and thats no lie. Follow Doug on this wonderfully well written plot whilst he tries to foil a terrorist explosion and save a female caught up in the plot.

Very 'Minority Report' with a futuristic slant but it is possibly a thousand times better. Denzil is tremendous, Judge for yourself, you wont be disappointed!!!!

In a word Denzel Washington great actor, Im a fan of all his work and this is no exception, good film and one I've added to my collection.

Densel Washington has proved himself to be an accomplished actor in films such as Man on Fire and Manchurian candidate and undoubtledly he has done it again in this Hi tech Sci fi thriller. Densel plays a cop who has to investigate an explosion on a ferry carrying military personnel. While undertaking his investigations he gets the chance to look into the past and piece together the crime images apparantly taken from before the day of the crime. This is a well written, excellently directed and extremely well acted film. The whole premise seems a bit far fetched but the clever writing and direction makes it more believable as the film continues. Washington is excellent and derserves high acclaim for a really gritty and sumptous performance. Purchase this film today you will not be dissapointed!!! One excelent bonus feature is the director commentary. The film plays and every few minutes the film is paused and behind the scenes footage of how the film was made is screened and commentated on by the director, writer and producer. An excellent insight into how the film made its way from script to big screen and how they managed to create such a good film. 5 Stars

Really enjoyed this film, directed by Tony Scott, with Denzel Washington, Paula Patton, Val Kilmer. An ATF agent travels back in time to save a woman from being murdered, keeps you on your toes. Makes you think. I shared this around the office and all staff like this film.
