I bought this Cd because I'm a huge fan of the Deftones and wanted to hear their earlier stuff as opposed to their more heavyweight moody ambient sounds as heard on Deftones- Hexagram and White Pony. This album is the orginal rough blueprint of their music, and you can hear how they've influenced many other bands e.g System Of A Down, Mr Bungle, Peeping Tom, through this one sole record.
The album is more aggressive and youthful sounding than later albums, it's pure metal and yet still brooding, emotional and ecletic.
I am extremely happy I bought this Cd on ebay and havnt stopped playing it since it arrived!
