) i bought this because i love christmas films and danny devito is amazing this film is a rivalry comedy neighbour vs neighbour with lots of humour great acting and beautiful christmas lights that would definatly amaze most children there was nothing i disliked about this film it was fantastic i could watch it loads of times and never get sick of it

My dog ate the discSaw it at the cinema and the kids loved it so we bought it, but our dog ate it when the postman delivered and we were out. Now buying another copy and the dog goes without his treats for a month. It's a funny film though.

Wasn't as funny as trailers made out. Bought it on eBay as I had not seen it and didn't want to pay retail price in case I didn't like it. Had some big names in the cast but they couldn't hold the shoddy script together.

I loved the contrast in charecter between matthew brodrick and danny devito, it was touching as well as funny, i bought this film because i collect christmas films. I loved this one it was great i would recommend it to any devito fans, great to watch curled up on the sofa. Cannot say there was anything i disliked about it.

) I couldn't find this DVD in the shops (sold out) so I rented it and liked it so much I decided to look on ebay to see if there was one for sale.There was so I bought it.It is a brilliant story and I loved the christmassy scenes and houses covered with fairylights.These are two of my favourite things so this DVD was a must and I shall watch and enjoy it many times.I can't honestly say there was any one thing I disliked about it and I am very happy to have found one on ebay to buy.

Not a bad film but not great. Kids enjoyed it but never held my attention. Alot of missed opportunities for jokes and silliness. Not one I would watch over and over like most xmas films.

A Xmas FilmI've got to say first, 'I love Xmas films' and I quiet enjoyed this film. Its a fun family christmas movie..My only problem was it could have been a lot more funnier. They missed so many opportunitys for gags etc. But it kept me in a good mood for christmas!! I was disappointed in Matthew Broderick as usual. I sometimes think, who told him he could act?..Great film though for young kids, very silly. I would watch again next year and really that's the point.
