Death Wish
This is an explosive story of revenge and urban violence. Paul Kersey (Charles Bronson) is a liberal who sees life quite differantly when his wife and daughter are brutally attacked in their apartment. His daughter is sexually assaulted and his wife murdered. Kersey turns vigilanty and patrols the mean streets of New York in search of vile undesirables. Death Wish is a violent and highly controversial film that treats urban crime both brutally and frankly.
Although made in 1974 this is still a great action packed film, watch out for a young Jeff Goldblum making his film debut as one of the thugs.
