Loosely based on Death Race 2000 the film takes a new look and better plot.
One way to describe the film is like a video game, if you've played such as Twisted Metal, Carmageddon or any other car combat game then this is a film for you.
The best game to describe this as thou would be Full Auto, Destroying your enemies vehicles while racing!
Cars with weapons and armour, with racing and action!
Fans of the orignal may be disappointed but an excellent film in my eyes.

WHEN I FIRST SO THIS FILM ADVERTISED I WAS NOT EXPECTING A GREAT DEAL BUT I TELL YOU ITS A MUST WATCH. SO LETS GET DOWN TO THE STORYLINE IT'S 2012 THE GLOBAL FINANCIAL MEALTDOWN HAS RESORTED TO ANYTHING THEY CAN TO MAKE MONEY WE START OFF WITH STATHAM WHO WORKS AT THE LOCAL IRON WORKS WHEN HE GETS LAID OFF AS THE THE COMPANY THAT OWNS IT HAS GONE BUST WHEN HE ARRIVES HOME HE TELLS HIS WIFE WHO CHERRS HIM UP AN SAYS IT WILL BE OKAY HE GOES UPSTAIRS TO GET A CHANGE OF CLOTHS AND SAYS HELLOW TO HIS BABY DOUGHTER WHEN HE COMES BACK DOWN HE SEES HIS WIFE LYING ON THE FLOOR SHE HAD BEEN MURDERED ALL OF A SUDEN THIS MAN CHARGES AT HIM WITH PEPER SPRAY JUST BEFORE HE GOES OUT COLD HE GETS A GLIMSE OF THE MAN WHO DID IT POINTING AT HIM PRITENDING HES SHOOTING HIM HE HAD A RATHER STRANGE TAG AROUND HIS WRIST THEN HES OUT COLD . HE WAKES UP A WHILE LATER WITH SIRENS COMING TOWARDS HIM AND SWAT IN HIS HOUSE HE SEES THERE IS A KNIFE IN HIS HAND FULL OF BLOOD ... HE THEN GETS CARTED OF WITH A LIFE SENTENCE AND HIS DOUGHTER IN CARE HES TAKEN TO A STATE PENATENTUARY AND THATS WHEN DEATH RACE BEGINS! This film is excellent.It is full of stunts and is exciting to watch. This is a credit to Jason Statham and the rest of the cast.

This film provides great action scenes that are very exciting and keep you on the edge of your seat. However, it is pretty predictable and it seems to lack substance. Worth watching though!

Excellent prision film, involving elements of mad max n the possiblilities of how a car can be made into a killing machine.

a quick devliery cheap price really good value for money. the reason i bought it was because i look at the list and this item was the cheapest

i liked that the seller was more than happy to offer full refund when i advised there was a problem, decided to buy it as i had already seen the film at the cinema & enjoyed it & chose this particular item as it was the cheapest, disliked the fact that it was not an original dvd.

I have always been a big fan of the original death race 2000 film and are always a bit weary of remakes. not with this though it's brilliant! with the great jason statham and the classic actor ian mcshane.the cars are well armoured and the plot is very good and exciting.i enjoyed it very much and reckon you should waste no time and buy yourself the dvd you will not regret it one little bit.

this is jason statham at his best, its an exciting film and it keeps you on the edge of your seat, lots of action and a good storyline, brilliant!

Recieved 3 DVD'S all faulty they were copies and my DVD player won't play Fakes. I bought of seller, because detailed feedback said 92%, however that changed to 88% should never of bought of this seller.
