Dead Space - Downfall (DVD)

Ye not bad enjoyed the story n darkness + follows the game very well.

On the down side the animations not great (american 4 some reason???)...

Absolutely loved this film i played the game on 360 through three times the film is what happened to the planet cracker the usg ishimura mining ship.A must watch for anyone who has played the game the film finishes where the game starts making it a brilliant experience.

Movie is only 71 minutes long, so it far cheaper to buy the DVD (in this case for £3.50) rather than use 500+ microsoft points to wath it over xbox live for a maximum of 24 hours!!

Very good backstory to the game.

I've been collecting manga for quite some time now and love most films they produce.Dead space was a game release for Ps3 that i really enjoyed right to the end of the game and was quite gutted when i finished it as there was no more to play,so when i heard the game was bein released in Manga style film i was very excited the film explained everything the game didn't. The film did not dissapoint filled with gore and a deep story fantastic animation and quite on edge watching it.Manga's have been an inspiration to me for a long time now and from time to time you get some real classics,this was one of them!The film didn't follow the character Issac as in the game but it followed the first crew of the fantastic sized ship ishimura and shows how the ship led to be infested with aliens right from the start of the nightmare.A mining mission to the remote planet it is here they find an ancient relic which somehow is thought to prove the existence there is a god.The relic is brought onboard the ship and worshipped by a cult where some think it's evil others think it's holy, their fears are realised later when the relic unleashes a huge evil sleeping alien race.The crew has to fight their way through the ship and try to survive filled with non stop violence a gripping story from start to finish this is a manga i would recommend to anyone who's 18

I bought this because i completed the game and wanted to see how it all came to together. Fits nicely with game with good animation and reasonable voice acting. I recommend getting this if you enjoyed the game.

i bought it because i have the game and i enjoy both i like the dvd as it tell the story about what happened on board the USG ISHIMURA so after you watched the dvd you will be wanting to play the game

im not sure why this film has had such poor comments about the animation, for me it was drawn really well with it's own twist on reality, the gore was impressive and so was the plot. i'd never played the game and bought this film purely as a fan of animated films.

there's a good plot here with a dark side, it's good to watch a film that doesn't stick to the traditional film format.

4/5 for me.

This is an excellent adaption of the much loved Xbox 360 video game. The animation is solid and the story is well worth a watch. This is for fans of the video game without a doubt.

If you're a fan of the game then you will love it. Is set before the game as a prequel and leads up to the events of the game very well.
