A Masterpiece in atmospheric cinema

Dead Man's Shoes is a tale of two brothers returning to their town, with one of them - a soldier - having revenge on his mind.
Everything about this film is superb, the casting of each character, the acting, the directing, costume, the music. Yet this is barely a cult classic, though not enough people have seen it to make it cult. Paddy Considine is superb as Richard, terrifying, believable, and yet heroic. Sort of. Admittedly at times the film doesn't have much going on, and it is quite a short film, but very memorable. If onlt films like these were at the oscars, it would be worth watching then.
