Day Watch (DVD)

I think this is even better than Night Watch. The story and characters have evolved further and progress the story with real interest. The imagination shown in the camera work and the visuals is absolutely superb. The movie turns into an almost dream like state which had me glued to the screen. A wonderful film. The only trouble is that I doubt if we will now ever see the third episode in the trilogy that was supposed to be Dusk Watch. It's a shame because these films are truly genius.

This is a great follow up to night watch, it has a specific type of directing that I thought took a bit of getting used to, but when you get past that it is a great film. I thought it was a little bit lacking in some areas, mainly I would have liked to see more of the "gloom" and the special effects with it. But this is definately not enough to knock the film, on the whole it is very gripping, entertaining and well worth a watch!!

It keeps you on the edge of your seat with excitement. I love the special effects and the characters.

i like the way iy carries on from night watch. i also like the way the film is done. the way the jump from time to time. the whole film give a totally different aspect of things, and who people are so different. i mean without all the story lines. the way you have all types of cultuers and how they get along.

A different take on the supernatural. Day watch, the sequel to Night Watch is an excellent second part to this trilogy. Like Night watch, this film is down to earth and gritty, while still having slick special effects. The acting is great, as is the characterisation. You can have the film in dubbed version or in russian with ANIMATED subtitles... worth buying.

Good sound! The film is very dynamic in American style of an action and a mystery. Good casting of popular Russian actors. I think if you like Bulgakov`s "Master and Margarita", you will like this film too!

I've seen the movie but I liked the first part more than this second one. This one has excellent visual effects but it seems to be a little big bored at the beginning.
