Zombies have conquered the earth. This is without a doubt the best in the original 'dead' trilogy; regardless of the stick it got when released. Watch with caution as the gore is more gruesome, the atmosphere even more claustrophobic and the climax... Watch it and you'll see. A perfect end to a perfect trilogy says Buuuub. Romero did good.

Do you like zombies? Do you like gory horror films?? If you answered yes to any of these questions then you simply have GOT to own this DVD.
I love horror films & have a large collection of them & I can honestly say that this is in my top 5 easily.....

This is a classic zombie movie it's the transitional movie from the old to the new. the zombies shamble about as in earlier movies but they also give it some given a chance. Alot of romero fans dont like this third in the trilogy but then even romero himself has stated that this has become one of his favs. Bub the zombie / captain rhodes / steel / jesus,mary and joseph what more could you want.

Low budget eighties zombie film full of blood, guts, and needless violence, the story is lame and so is the acting, but the set peices and cinematography was superb so you can't help loving the film!!

Day of the Dead original DVDI bought this a present for my boyfriend has he love zombie movies but didnt own the originals only the remakes.
We watch it together and its an excellent movie, much better than the remake of the film. The quality of the product I bough was excellent and it was much cheaper than it had been on any other sites.
I then bough him the other two films in the trilogy off ebay as well and I was as happy with them as I was with this film.
