Dawn Of The Dead (DVD 2004)

I love this film. You actually see people getting eaten, you see them changing into zomies. There is a brilliant bit of humour in it where they are shooting the zombies from the roof top, I liked that. I liked the way you have the classic young stupid girl in the film, you know the girl, the one you want to slap becuase she does something that everyone else wouldn't. Effects are brilliant and the make up for the zombies was fantastic!!

This new version of Dawn of the Dead is simply brilliant. Too much credit is given to George Romero. Romero's white powdered, limp hipped zombies are as frightening as running away from my granny, and Land of the Dead wasn't much better.

Snyder's version simply rocks! From the outset the movie is fast-pased and terrifying. Instead of shuffling and shambling about, Snyder's rabid zombies charge relenlessly after their prey and the A-team bus showdown at the end is just awesome! This is the first zombie I can watch over and over again - and I have seen most of them.

The acting is flawless and the casting brilliant.

If you haven't seen this movie - you're going to be thrilled... to death.

I loved the original Romero flic. Although the 2004 remake is very close to the original plot, there are marked differences. The zombies for example are not the slow moving type seen in the original, but faster and more agile. Somewhat akin to the Infected of "28 Days Later".
I enjoyed it immensely when i saw it at the cinema, but then i pretty much go for anything "zombie" in content.
It's a remake of a classic, one that you'll either love or hate but only you will be able to decide for yourself.
I loved it.

The best of the Zombies! A re-make but, unusually, better than the origianal. You don't have to be a zombie fan to enjoy this film. The basis is obviously far fetched but the story line is strong enough to cope. Yes, plenty of gore but not over-the-top with guns and violence. Un-like others it is scary and will give you the odd jump. You will like it!

I really like this movie. Granted, I haven't seen the original, but this is a good zombie movie. Lot's of action but not too gory either.

It's worth a watch.

WOW! what a scary film, this latest up to date version of a horror classic is brilliant...it has enough blood and gore to satisfy anybody, Shocks, action and even a little humour thrown in for good measure, I won't give away the plot but i will say watch it even if its only for the great ending!!

What do i like ?

I like its unique idea for zombies to run, one of the few zombie movies which actually made me uneasy. A perfect setting of being in a mall, surruonded by fast running zombies.

I love the whole idea that zombies can run, obsessed with eating us and that there is only one way to kill them.
This movie is gory which is great and it looks realistic (even better).

I decided to buy it as i've never owned this dvd, i've always loved it when i watched it, and when i first saw it i loved it :)

Cant wait for the sequel.

This is a must for a horror/zombie fan.

very good dvd i had this dvd of dawn of the dead but lost it some here this is better than the old version good graphics. I bought this as i had this one and i lost it and its a good movie and had to get it again.

Well, If ya love fast paced zombie movies This is it...
Its got all the gore while still sticking to the original story line....the zombies are very fast and aggressive, which puts a more realistic spin on it...Its not the best zombie movie ever made but still makes a lot of impact..
You must give it a go....

i love this film really makes you jump in a couple of places plenty of blood gore and guts!really fab film zombie films can run abit the same but this one stands out from the rest with super fast running zombies and action all the way the type of film you can watch again and again cuz you carnt remember all the action 5 star film

As remakes go it aint bad. Not a patch on the original of course but its def. worth watching.

Some good special effects and make-up just to be honest Im a bit of a fan of the 'traditional' zombie rather than these ultra fast variety....

Not the greatest film i have ever seen, to be honest i would recommend the piss take 'Shaun of the Dead'! this film is a lot better and is very funny!

A cheese fest ! excellent for halloween and a very good remake of the original !

This is looked as a bit cheesey but go for it!, its wicked and you get to see a baby zombie ! x

This movie was fantastic although i am a dihard george fan, this remake was actually fun for me the running zombies gave it a good and quicker pace but it is very different in many ways so don't buy it if you just want to see the same movie with better effects. Bought it, loved it, watching it tonight and tommorow night and...

Its a film I saw at the pictures and really fanced watching it again it was cheaper to buy it on ebay than to rent it out , and the best thing is I can watch it again and again.

this is a great classic movie of the zombie error. plenty of gorr flesh eating going on with alot of feelings,heart and emotions.
confused people trying to survive the best they can as would anyone.
I bought this dvd as i've always wanted it from when i first saw this movie many years ago.
Its well produced my sort of thing.
To dislike this movie....I dont think so!!

A bit far fetched in some parts but aren't all zombie movies.

not very realistic storyline but hey we all love senseless gore

This is a very good remake of the original. Very scary and a bit bloody. i think its better than the original! enjoy!!!
