David Bowie - Hunky Dory (CD 1997)

This early 70s album has three great tracks, Changes, Life On Mars and Queen Bitch, one OK track, Oh You Pretty Things, and the rest is pretty mediocre by David's usual standards. Think 'laid-back Sunday mornings', and you get the picture. Not a bad album, but not one of Bowie's best, either.

Classic Bowie album, one of his best. On listening today I was disappointed at myself at not having bought the CD earlier after not having heard my LP version for many years. It still sounds fresh, kooky and definitely a must-have in the music collection of anyone with an appreciation of Mr Bowie.

I mainly bought it because I already have the original vinyl edition, and am currently replacing my favourite vinyls with CD's.
It is early David Bowie at his best.

This is David Bowie being David Bowie for the last time before re-inventing himself as other pesonna for the next 20 years.
