Had this on vinyl for years and decided to join the 21st century and buy it in cd format. I'm a huge (pre-Let's Dance) Bowie fan and this is one of my fave albums ever. If you love Bowie, particularly his Aladdin Sane/Diamond Dogs era, you'll love this. Recorded during 4 concert dates at the Tower Theatre, Philadelphia in July 1974, this is a really great live album.

) This album is as good now as when I first heard it and a reminder of how good Bowie was and is live.The Album manages to capture the excitement of his live show and to have it on CD is great as you get bonus tracks not previously available on the LP version.A must have for Bowie fans and music lovers alike. Listen and enjoy.

MAYBE BOWIE AT HIS WEIRDEST WITH COCAINE PROBLEM AND LYRICS THAT ARE SOMETIMES HARD TO MAKE OUT BUT THE ATMOSPHERE, DAVIDS VOCAL PERFORMANCE AND THE SUPPORTING MUSICANSHIP WITH SAX AND GUITAR SOLOS BATTLING IT OUT TO BE TOP DOG ARE TO ME BREATHTAKING!! AND NOW IT JUST GETS BETTER WITH EXTRA MATERIAL, A SET LIST REFLECTING THE ORIGINAL PERFORMANCE AND REMASTERING THAT BRINGS TO LIFE ELEMENTS LOST ON THE VINYL. CHECK OUT THE START TO "SWEET THING" FOR EXAMPLE!!

) Even tho it is re-mastered, this is still an earthy recording of many classic Bowie tracks from one of his richest eras. It's an often over-looked, but must have album for fans of 70s Bowie and recent converts also. If you are up-grading from vinyl, be prepared for a couple of "bonus" tracks, which don't do much. Otherwise, it's great to listen to this concert again 30 years on.

I originally bought the Double Album on Vinyl in 1974!! But now not having a Vinyl Record Player, I was desperate to hear all those songs I used to drive home to at weekends when I was young.
The Double CD from eBay was an absolute bargain, and in actual real money terms was actually cheaper than the Double Album I bought 32 years ago!! And has additional tracks on that the vinyl didn't!
eBay is a great place for replacing your vinyl (and Tape Cassette) collection with CD's. It's amazing what absolute bargains are available.
