The opening track 'A-Tuin the Turtle' fires the imagination and makes you almost see A-tuin and the Discworld slowly moving through space.

I played this CD in the car and have got my teenaged daughters hooked ... as well as my husband, who wasn't a Discworld fan at all!

Be prepared to keep singing bits of 'A Wizards Staff' and 'The Streets of Ankh Morpork' (the unwary traveller).

The bouncy tune of the 'Stick and Bucket Dance' stays with you for a long time afterwards and even the tinies at some Parent/Grandparent & Toddler Swimming Sessions I hosted enjoyed splashing to this ...

A must for Discworld fans of all ages ... from under 6 months to over 600 years! ENJOY!

This is amazing! Whilst listening for the first time, I had the c/d box near to hand, so that I could identify each track. The second time I listened, I didn't need the box, the music is so descriptive of the whole feel of Discworld, it's as if you're there. I really enjoy the way that the music effortlessly transports you to the different areas of the Discworld. I now know exactly 'where' I am whenever I listen. I find it fascinating that a musician can give such a description of a place, without resorting to lyrics. Obviously, there are some vocals involved, but the majority of the c/d is instrumental and I have even used this c/d for relaxation/meditation. It really worked!! The music is so good, that I feel as though I should pack my bags and move to AnkhMorpork! Brilliantly written and performed, a true genius at work.
