Description
Dave Gorman's (GOOGLEWACK ADVENTURE) on a mission to travel across America completely independent of chain stores, chain restaurants... basically anything prefixed with the word 'chain'. Relying solely on 'Mom & Pop' stores for provisions, the multi award-winning performer explores the struggle faced by privately-owned businesses to survive in a culture of big brands and faceless corporations. Of course, this means foregoing most of the modern conveniences we take for granted, such as Starbucks and petrol stations on every corner. But Gorman is determined to find the 'land of opportunity' he dreamed of as a child, even if the odds are stacked against him.

Hi,
This is a very good film. I thought it was very interesting to see the serious side of Dave Gorman. It is much more like a documentary than Googlewhack and Are you Dave Gorman where he is simply telling a story. However, by being like a documentary most of the film revolves around Dave Gorman driving a car and talking into a camera, which is not particularly funny, it is interesting and definitely worth a watch, although if you wanna laugh get one of the other films.
