Date Movie (DVD)

I loved Date Movie! If you've ever seen Scary Movie 1, 2, 3 and 4 and liked them, then you're sure to love this too! It's not like James Bond or The Fast And The Furious, it's just like a bunch of celebs spoofing a whole load of dating movies, and bunging it all together with Alyson Hanigan to top it of! But if you're the sort of person that likes long and involved films, then i suggest you buy Lord Of The Rings (which is actually in Date Movie!) or Gone With The Wind!

I decided to buy it because I just really enjoyed the film. Even though it was very imature and had a juvinile sense of humour, but that is what I like about those sort of films! If you did'nt like the scary movie 1-4, then I strongly suggest don't buy this film!! But if your like me and a great fan of spoof comedies then definately get bidding! :D

the film was really funny an being a mick take from the scary movies its full of laughter an one to be watched...

This is a great film, which I would recommend as it will have you laughing your heads off but I would definately recommend this if you like Scary Movie you will like Date Movie.

This movie is funny from start to end!
If you're a fan of the American Pie series then you'll definatly like Date Movie!!

I bought this for my neice for christmas. Because of the great deal I was able to get on this DVD I was also able to buy her another DVD. So she got 2 presents for the price of 1.

This is a real stinker worth watching just to how bad it is had more enjoyment crawling round sainsburys on a wet sat afternoon with the mrs.

Whoah! What a rush! I've just spent 83 minutes of my life trying to identify the movies, music, TV shows and even advertisements spoofed by this stinker. There's a story in there somewhere, about a young white woman of mixed ethnic background who undergoes an extreme makeover to win the bachelor of her dreams, but it's kinda hard to find underneath the pile of gross drivel attempting to pass for humor.

Supposedly a spoof on romantic comedies, the movie focuses on Meet the Fockers (another stinker), with supporting gags from Hitch, The 40 Year Old Virgin, Bridget Jones' Diary, Shallow Hal, Wedding Crashers, The Wedding Planner, Sleepless in Seattle, Pretty Woman, How to Lose a Guy in Ten Days, and When Harry Met Sally, among many, many others.

When it's through with the comedies, it takes on Kill Bill, King Kong, The Lord of the Rings, Napoleon Dynamite, The Bird Cage, Dodgeball, the song Milkshake by Kelis, Candy Shop by 50 Cent, Britney Spears and Kevin Federline, Michael Jackson, The Bachelor, Pimp My Ride, Paris Hilton, Taco Bell, Best Buy, and even Girls Gone Wild.

It would take an expert on pop culture (or a very bored person with a lot of time on their hands) to identify all the parodied and lampooned subjects in this movie, which admittedly has quite a few chuckles, but far too many gross-out scenes are too prolonged to be anything other than mind-blowingly bad moments on film.

Consider this movie a pop-culture quiz and see how you fare, but be warned - you'll need to park your good taste at the door, and we can't be held responsible for its safety. Enter at your own risk, and may the farce be with you.

One of the funniest Parody's i've seen!!! It mostly takes the mickey out of Meet The Parents, but there's some other films in there that you'll recognise, an all round funny film, and recommended for anyone with a sense of humour!!

This is a funny movie you need to watch especially on these cold dark nights to put a warm glow back in to yourself. I bought this film to make me laugh and I have got the scary movies.

I never intentailly looked to buy this specific film but was a last minute 99p baragin. Im very glad i got this film though and was worth every one of thos pennies! This film left me in fits. Its an absolutley hillarious film. This film would probably be most suitable fo teenagers and younger adults, but im sure anyone would enjoy this film. If you see this film going on ebay i would but it because it is a must see! Dan (lloydy-20)

Story: Alison Hannigan is a fat chick who can't get a guy to marry, she gets thinned quickly with tha help off the ''Pimp it up'' carfixers, some hilarious scenes there!
She finds a great guy, a knock-out babe tries to crash wedding, but in the end they're together again :) and get married :)

Brilliant comedy, enough to lift a dull night, and put you back on track for work the next day,if you need a laugh then go for this.Personally not tried this disk yet,but have seen it on tv,made me laugh. Just waiting for my feedback now as a buyer,did think as a buyer would receive feedback immediately as i have completed my side of buisness. But live in hope

This was a really good fun movie to watch ... the more spoofed scenes that you recognised the funnier it was ! I am a great fan of both of the lead characters (Adam Campbell and Alyson Hannigan). If you are looking for a lighthearted film that doesn't take anything too seriously then this is worth a look.

After seeing this film when it 1st came out, i brought it as i thought it was really good. Most horror films don't make me jump but this one did. Plus the house in the film is gorgeous!!!

Top film, would highly advise anybody to watch this, very funny film! better than scary movie, and american pie, laughed all the through.

I thought the film was very funny if you need a good laugh buy this film I saw a preview of the film at a friends but couldn,t stay too watch the film and wanted this film for my collection.

This movie is a take off of so many other movies and is hysterecally funny.Its a real must see film as willow from 'buffy' is seen in a whole new light as a very overweight girl that morphs into something totally amazing.My 16 year old loves it.There is nothing we don't like.
