Report this review Das BootI first saw Das Boot when it was seriallised on tv,I thought then that it was the most true to life portrayal of life in a U Boat.This DVD is far superior to what I remember from the tv. The Interior sequences are superb,and the only let down is the poor use of models in some of the exterior shots,but then again , this is not a new film so you would not expect up to date CGI effects. To finish,anybody who wants to get an idea about what life was like on a U Boat on a war patrol,from the boredom to the terror of a depth charge attack,watch this film.
