Daredevil (DVD 2004)

Story:
The latest Marvel Comics superhero to hit the big screen is Daredevil (Ben Affleck), a man blinded by a radioactive chemical accident as a young boy but left with superhuman senses and agile acrobatic ability. Like his Marvel compatriot Spider-Man, Daredevil attempts to lead a normal life by day as Matt Murdock, a Hell's Kitchen defense attorney. By night Matt becomes Daredevil, a brooding superhero fighting for justice in the dark and squalid New York streets overrun with vermin and criminal injustice. Wearing a red leather suit and mask, Daredevil leaps from high skyscrapers and tracks his enemies with his radar-like vision, punishing those who are guilty but whom he cannot tackle in the courtroom. At the center of the city's villainous underbelly is Daredevil's nemesis Kingpin (Michael Clarke Duncan) and his psychotic, knife-wielding deputy-assassin Bullseye (Colin Farrell). Daredevil fights their powerful forces alone, until he meets Elektra Natchios (Jennifer Garner of ALIAS fame), a skilled martial artist and sexy superheroine who is after Bullseye and Kingpin for murdering her father. Sparks fly as the two heroes take on the underlords of crime together in this action-packed adventure fantasy that will surely delight fans of SPIDER-MAN, X-MEN, or BATMAN.

you can see the whole movie with cut in parts where they explain how shots are made! Very awesome to see that, as well at the end where they explain that the leather suit Ben was wearing was actually almost impossible to move in!

Awesome movie, very recommendable, 1 of Ben's best work in my opinion.

Very enjoyable film. Jennifer Garner was excellent, as was Colin Farrell. Well made film. Dont know why it got bad reviews.

i primarily bought it as i collect marvel. it has good story line and special effects are also good as are the choice of actors. if you want to watch ELEKTRA then watch this first. 9 out of 10.

This film is far from boring its action packed and colin farrell is the bad guy well worth a watch. Lots of fights and action with 4 hours of bonus material excellent also.

I decided to buy the film as I like all the marvel games and other dvd's but I have to say it is not a fantastic film! Compared to films like the x-men this isnt in the same league, dont watch it.

I went into this not knowing if I would like it or not, but I was pleasntly surprised. The fight scenes are amazing. Colin Farrell as "Bullseye" is so funny. All the characters have there own power, maybe not superpowers, but they can use their abilites to their own advantage. If you like Marvel Comics mad into films, then try this, and I think you will like it.

Although this film got slated i actually really like it. It's Marvel comics all over. A must for comic fans and children alike.

The kingpin controls town and a helpful blind lawyer with some unique abilities tries to bring him to justice outside of the law.

The film is really good and Jennifer Garner , Ben Affleck the main actors are really good as a team and the movie is very enjoyable to watch over and over

Great film. A must see for any action film fanatic. The only thing I thought of was that I hoped that both this film and the film 'Electra' would have run paralell or at least very similar story lines. I am certainly not putting the film down as it was great - just my opinion!
