The Da Vinci Code (DVD)

Having read the book and seen the film (in Spanish), I really wanted to see the original version DVD. I missed out on an auction copy, but found that I could get a Buy it Now one for less - amazing. If you only look at auction items, you could be missing out on a good deal in the Buy it Nows.

I have read the book and thoroughly enjoyed it - but unfortunately was unable to see the film at the cinema - I thoughly enjoyed this film - it was an excellent product and arrived in very quick time. Will buy from this ebayer again. If you want a good afternoon's entertainment this is for you.

Fantastic film - I just finished reading the book and had to see the film! As usual some things have been ommitted and some things put in but on the whole a 'Must See!' great film - fast paced and action packed.

Brilliant film. Makes you think throughout. This film is nearly as good as the book, I cannot give it higher praise.

The film was very well made,but,it didn't live up to the book.The book was excently, but the film on the other hand was a little dissapointing.I only bought the film beacuse I'd read the book.My advice is if you didn't see the film when it first came out,then before you buy it,try renting it first. Although if you find a cheap copyt then you could always buy it then sell it.
Overall rating would be 7/10. Still worth a watch though.

i like all of the films tom hanks stars in as they seem to be thought provoking.
saving private ryan, terminal, road to perdition and the da vinci code was no exception!
it makes one think in depth about things we all take for granted.
it is also worrying just how much power and influence some organisation actually have.

A very very classy film, great acting from Tom Hanks, prefered the book but the film tried to stay true to it, i can see why it upset some religeous minded people but it is ficvtion. looking forward to angels and demons

I thought this was a very good film with plenty of twists to the plot and some very good acting. Paul Bettany is great as Silas although his accent is sometimes a little dodgy.

The scenes introducing Robert Langdon were brilliant I enjoyed the different takes on the symbols shown.

The treasure hunt nature of the film is quite enjoyable and seeing the solutions to the clues is good. The interplay between the characters is well played out.

The film is obviously a better film if you have an interest in catholic mythology (personaly i include the bible in the mythology heading rather than fact but that is irrelevant). This is a work of fiction and is a fun film to watch.

This film has so many twists an d turns in it that make you question what is going to happen next. I loved the book so i decided to see the film.

This film is very gripping with a good story line that draws you into the film. Definately watch this film again and would recommend to anyone
