Cyndi Lauper - Twelve Deadly Cyns - And Then Some (CD 2004)

It was one of those moments when I heard a Cyndi Lauper song on the radio and then thought about some of her other hits, this prompted me to look for a greatest hits CD on e.bay.
12 Deadly Cyns-And Then Some (weird title....why didn't they simply call it Cyndi Lauper Greatest Hits ?)is a feel good CD. You start with the infectiously toe tapping "Girls just wanna have fun" to other pop classics like "She bop", and just when you think this is too full of pop tunes you get a complete change in Ms Laupers vocals as she comes down a trillion octaves to give us the ballads of "All through the night" "I drove all night" and the beautiful "Time after time". You may not be able to think of 12 of her hits, but put this CD on and you'll be surprised how many great songs you remember.
