Cyndi Lauper - Twelve Deadly Cyns - And Then Some (CD 2004)

Definately an album to get if you like Cyndi Lauper this is the best album with all the great classic hits ie. time after time and true colours, i think this cd is good and worth a listen, each song very different to the next !!!!!

this cd great title,as ever all songs to me have magic content and meaning.she is tiny but terrific in vocals and the definition of all songs performed. I get a lift and enjoy singing along with this cd.girls just wanna have fun never ages,nearly always hear this at parties and sing songs,this cd twelve deadly cyns and then some,to me is a must have.the changing modes of all songs makes this cd special,some of the best I have heard from her of,I drove all night,money changes everything,come on home,she bop,I"m gonna be strong, great collection, great entertainment,cannot fault it.

Cos it's good, and I like it lots and lots and lots and lots and lots and lots and lots and lots and lots and lots and lots and lots and lots and lots and lots,and it's a cheap present for the wife!

It was one of those moments when I heard a Cyndi Lauper song on the radio and then thought about some of her other hits, this prompted me to look for a greatest hits CD on e.bay.
12 Deadly Cyns-And Then Some (weird title....why didn't they simply call it Cyndi Lauper Greatest Hits ?)is a feel good CD. You start with the infectiously toe tapping "Girls just wanna have fun" to other pop classics like "She bop", and just when you think this is too full of pop tunes you get a complete change in Ms Laupers vocals as she comes down a trillion octaves to give us the ballads of "All through the night" "I drove all night" and the beautiful "Time after time". You may not be able to think of 12 of her hits, but put this CD on and you'll be surprised how many great songs you remember.

I Have all ways like Cyndi Lauper and i believe that this is her best Album and has her best Songs and Tunes on the Album. songs such as True Colours, Time After time and everyone favourite Girls Just wanna Have Fun.
then there are the othe Fantastic Tunes on the Album such as I drove All Night and She Bop. i must buy for all fans of Cyndi Lauper.

Cyndi lauper at her best some great tracks transports you back to the eighties sit back and enjoy timeless classics that will never be bettered cool

I brought it for the song True Colours - my all time favourite song of hers, again to download into itunes and put onto my ipod

This Best Of album contains the must have, Girls Just Want To Have Fun, and the heart wrenching beaty of true Colours (sorry Phil Collins, your version is great, but the catch in Cyndis voice just brings a tear), and of course Time after Time. I may be Biased, as True Colours and Time after Time were played at my wedding! There is also a pretty good cover of Marvin Gayes What's Going On.
Cyndi I think deserves greater recognition, she really is on par with Madonna. Bouncy and fun with Girls Just Want... Tear jerkingly beautiful with True Colours.

This album is from 1994 but do not let that put you off!! This one is definately worth a look. A comprehensive 16 track album,with many great hits that include, "girls just wanna" and "true colors". There have been so called best offs released after this but, for me, this is her best album. I may be a heavy rocker but this is in my collection, without shame!!

Bought this CD simply because of one song "Gonna Be Strong" is the backing music for a video on Youtube that someone posted. A powerful piece of music that I actually had to look up as I'd never heard it before.

The CD is great, full of Cindi's other songs which I remembered from years ago, the perfect CD to put in the CD player as you storm down the motorway, with a bit of luck played full blast with the windows down... "I drove allnight" shouldn't really be listened to any other way.

Well worth the money, and saved myself the blank looks of the teenage helper in the Music store, not to mention several pounds and pence.

I saw this cd and i knew i had to have it as i have it on cassette but no casssette player,so when i saw it i brought it straight away. I really like this cd as it reminded me when i was younger dancing around my bedroom and singing.My favourite song has to be sally's pigeons about a girl and her best friend,really touching.

recieved the cd in immaculate condition and really quickly. the cd itself is full of her best tracks, and needless to say, i enjoyed listening to it. great stuff

had this cd on cassette but it went missing and i had been looking for it ever since this cd is a must it is excellant to listen to and shows what a truly fantastic artist cyndie lauper really is a must for anyone to own.
