JUST HOW HORROR FILMS SHOULD BE. EXCELLENT
Review created: 03/03/09(updated 03/03/09)

I first saw this movie when i was about twelve, i was living in Singapore then, and there, there was no age restriction, was't i pleased about that.
this was one of the first what i call horror films i'd seen, and it introduced me to two fine actors namely Peter Cushing and the classy gent Christopher Lee, and what two brilliant performances, from Cushing as the baron Frankenstien, and the creature brilliantly portaid by the impecable Lee, they kept me on the edge of my seat through out, it was superb entertainment and great escapisum for an hour and a half, and this for me is how horror films should be made, you think with to-days techknowlegy what the director could have done, by to-days standards, but he never had all that, and produced an excellent allround film, 1957, and it still stands up for me.
I must admit i would like someone like Ridley Scott do a remake now it would be interesting to say the least.
I'll finish by saying Ace, great stuff, 10/10, oh yes and before i go the review for FRANKENSTIEN, ABOVE MINE IS A DIFFERENT fRANKENSTIEN ALTO GETHER IT'S THE MORE MODERN VERSION, Mary Shelleys Frankenstien. And this was a superb film as well.
