Cure - Greatest Hits (CD 2001)

After hearing One Cure Song I decided to buy this album and I've never looked back. This was my first Cure album and I have now gone out of my way to buy all of their albums. This is a great round off of hits from the Cure from their Early dark days with 'A Forest' to the poptastic 'Lovecats' and 'Friday I'm in Love' I Love this album so much that It is my Favorite Greatest Hits I have, and Trust me that's got some stiff compition. I highly recommend it from beginning to end. Allthough it misses out on tracks that should be on there. It makes you want to buy other albums and find the Beauties that lurk there in the shadows. This album proves that The Cure are still as Strong as they have been 28 years ago!

i would have loved to add this CD to my collection, this is the reason i spent over £15. unfortunatly, even after having contacted the seller i have not received the item. i do not even see the point of leaving negative feedback because the two negative feedbacks i have are in response of the negative i left to two sellers. one, because i never received the item (seller was contacted in several occasions) and the other because the item was not at all as described.

***SQUEAL*** I was delighted with this CD! I had promised it to myself for months and finally picked it up. Its so bouncy to start your day with, and there are so many classic songs on it- a lot of them that I hadnt realised were done by the cure, so that was a bonus! I was mainly buying it because love cats had been in my head for a week, but being as every tracks AMAZING it was still good value for money!

witn no cure music in my collection , i decided i would look for friday im in love , and take a chance with all the other hits .
its absolutley brill. great condition of cd .
although you may be put off having previously heard some of their music , and you may have found it too strange , i think you will find this is not the case .
i havent stopped playing it since i gott it .
tracks date from 79 to 85 .
the percussion is good on lovecats , caterpillar , close to me ,
the feeling of aforest , pictures of you , is that you could be listening to them live now , great songs pictures of you and lovesong and high .
never enough uses effective lead guitars and effects embracing elemnts of rock .

just like heaven and wrong number and just say yes ; good lead guitars .
just say yes and buy it .

lullaby soft & gentle sensual mood ,
lovesong , words ;"i will always love you." nothing like w housten ,
thankfully , easy listening carrys you along with the guitar and piano melody .
you will want to buy the original albums with other material on ,
and wont be dissapointed .

I chose this Cd as i had just been bought the Radio 1 live lounge CD for xmas. On it is a cover version of Lullaby done by The Feeling. On hearing it, i realised that i hadn't got anything by the Cure at all. hence the purchase. It's so much easier to buy on ebay and i got myself a bargain.

IM A BIG FAN AND HAVE BEEN FOR A LONG TIME, FINALLY IVE GOT ALL MY FAVOURITES ON ONE CD (BACK OF THE NET !!!!)
