Based on a favourite book of mine was pleased to see it on ebay. A classic tale pulled off with a modern twist. The fresh and talented cast are convincing and naturally funny and relish their either malicious conniving or naive characterisations. Sarah Michelle Gellar shows a different side to her acting talents from the 'Buffy' parodies she has been blessed with in recent years, and proves she has versatility afterall. All this is underscored by a wicked soundtrack full of rock, dance and dark ballads. So good I'd buy the cd to go with the dvd. All in all very pleased to have this on my DVD shelf.
