Who needs Peter Pan?

You know what, without prejudice, if you realise that this movie is 100% Chinese and 100% subtitled you can begin to appreciate the culture of this refreshing, very different ‘fantasy come love story philosophy action flick.’
Once you really accept that the characters really can actually fly (I couldn’t see any strings either), you can really get into this very tasteful thought provoking film.
The fight sequences albeit impossible are very convincingly staged and the special effects state of the art. The script entices you despite the plot, initially, simply making you think that recovery of a stolen sword is all that is too come! Wrong! Not since Bruce Lee have I seen such skilful realism and ‘kung fu’ fantasy. Think deep, as there are some words of wisdom in this great, unique aphoristic film.
I really love the striking ‘Girl power’ fashion that these latest movies seem to be portraying as well. I don’t know how or when this all started, maybe it was ‘buffy’ or Lara croft?
Right now I fancy a Chinese meal!
