Creative Technology Sound Blaster Audigy LS

i recently bought this sound card mainly due to new motherboards having excellent onboard sound but a lack of game port. although this is reletivly old tech now it is a fantastic sound card, supporting soundfonts and EAX and other sound effect generation and surround sound gaming(with seperate speakers) and the main reason i bought this, the gameport/midi port. i use programs like cubase, reason and adobe audition that require some type of midi interface along with a game port midi adapter(supplied seperatly) that is exactly what you have. for anybody wanting a cheap great quality sound card for gaming, music creation software or even for DVD's and music, then this is the card for you!

I had a Sound Blaster Live sound card for some years, unfortunately the line in function stopped working. So decided to look for a later model i.e Audigy LS, first I found that to load the features you had to have the original installation CD, the first card I purchased did not have this but second one did. Then after loading the installation software found that not all features worked. I have Windows XP Pro installed. I contacted Creative Support but they just lead me around in circles, I finally gave up and just use the features available to me using the latest drivers. The old SB Live was a much better card.
