  Get what you pay for

They do the job but they don't plug up ones ear enough to get the full range of bass that other more expensive buds provide.

  Faulty and Low Quality Build.
Review created: 22/11/09
by:

I have bought these headphones twice now. Remember buying them a few years ago but they were very well built and I paid like 7quids for them. But some of these is sold on eBay for less than 3quids and it is a really good bargain.

BUT my two recent purchases ended up with the headphones breaking physically... and loss of sound in THE FIRST DAY OF USE. Asking for my money back is too much of a hassle for 2++quids so I just left it.

SO... CONCLUSION: If you feel like throwing some of your money away (not a lot) and for fun just to get something faulty and usable for a few days... get these headphones.

I decided to purchase the earphones as the item description sounded good quality and when i recieved the product the item description was very accurate. I am pleased with the product but it is very delicate as part of it is broken now and i've only had it about a week.

  Good headphones
Review created: 30/10/09

My origninal apple headphones had broke, so I decided to get a new pair. After some research, these creative headphones looked good. They cancel out some noise due to their in-ear buds, which can be changed into different sizes.
Overall, good headphones.

  Creative EP headphones

Earphones have good sound capability and come with spare silicon buds. Was not aware that one cable is longer than the other for round the back of your neck. Not my preferred way to wear earphones apart from that pretty good value for money.

This product is good for five pounds only thing i would say thats a problem is that wire is only a meter long not 1.2 like most and sometimes it shows other than that its a class product.

  Good all-round performance
Review created: 30/09/09

If you are like me and your priorities are low cost headphones with good noise cancelling/sound quality, then look no further. Sound cancelling was particularly good for cheap headphones, and it allowed me to listen to music at lower volume than usual - saving my ears/battery life. Also they were comfortable and had a decent sized cable with no irritating box sitting half-way along it.

If I have any criticisms, they would be that the bass is deep and slightly dominant, but an equaliser adjustment should counteract this to some extent.

A warning to those who treat their headphones with similar brute force, I ripped one headpone off the cable when trying to force it out of my pocket - but perhaps that was inevitable. To be honest, I'd say if you're rough with them, these are good headphones, as you won't be wrecking £30+ worth!

  good sound but uncomfortable
Review created: 24/09/09

I bought these headphones because my older Sony MDR-ED12LP's wire got severed, but was very disappointed because they are very uncomfortable and fall out the ear easily, but the sound quality good for the price and the wire is slightly thicker than usual. Overall next time i think i'll stick to the sony MDR-ED12LP even though its twice the price

  Small but beautifully formed
Review created: 22/07/09

By their very nature, ultra small audio earbud earphones are in most cases going to struggle to perform to on ear equivilents and are invariably no where near as comfortable to wear for long periods. These Creative EP-630 do a fairly good job of closing the gap. Bass levels are quite punchy and low enough to be very credible, though I have my doubts that they reach the stated 6 htz, I would suggest at least double this is a more realistic level. Mid ranges are well defined, if a little too well at times which can be a little overpressuring and fatiguing. High frequences are sharp and very (if a little over) clear. Lower volume levels can help to tame the higher frequencies. Comfort wise, these are a very good fit and stay in place with ease, with little chance of falling out even with pronouced head movements. If you are in a highly mobile situation, or where discrete/light fitment is a priority, then the EP-630 is worth consideration.

Great sound quality, but built by idiots
Review created: 10/07/09
by:

The basic task of a set of earphones is sound reproduction, and the EP630s are among the best I've ever owned in that regard. Why, then, have I given them one out of five? The reason is build quality. I have owned three sets of these earphones, and all of them ended up dead with the exact same flaw: one earphone ends up much quieter than the other. Someone more technical than me said that this is caused by the wire connection inside one earphone becoming loosed, frayed, eaten by a polar bear, and so on. As I say, all three sets I've owned (yes, I am a mug, but until recently there weren't any alternatives except the commonly-counterfeited CX300s) have developed the exact same fault (one after two days), and since they were purchased months/years apart from wildly different locations I think the law of averages suggests that rubbish build quality is to blame rather than pure bad luck on my part.
