Crash Test Dummies - God Shuffled His Feet (CD 1994)

Crash Test Dummies have been a favourite of mine for sometime. This album is by far the best one i have heard of their's to date. Every song on the album is brilliant, not one track goes by when you will want to hit the skip button.

mmm mmm mmm is a song that they released which is extremely catchy, like the rest of the album, you will be singing along with it in no-time.

The tracks are great and thought provoking with a very distinctive style. Worth the place in your cd collection.

The album was somewhat quirky when released in 1994 and its no different now. I bought it then on cassette and more recently on CD.
I find it still as good though and a good album to chill out to with the odd lyrics and deep voice fronting the band.
Don't think they released any more which is a shame as it certainly injected a breath of fresh air into the music world at that time.
My advice - if you're still unsure about it - get it because you won't be disappointed with it in your collection.
Play it when you have folks round and watch their reaction when they work out who it is. Good stuff

‘God Shuffled His Feet’ is undoubtedly the best album this Canadian band has produced. In parts the lyrics can be fairly cerebral / philosophical (which is great), the vocals and music are superb! A must for all music collections.

heard one of the songs on radio and decided to buy,hoped to get it at bargain price on ebay which i did,really like the music,nothing to dislke

Its been 14 years since this was released ... how did that happen? 14 years?! It seems like only yesterday everyone was badly humming the Mmmmm Mmmm Mmmm Mmmm song. I'll be honest I only bought it because its featured on the Singstar 90s game for the playstation and after butchering it on there it was once again stuck in my head for weeks.

I originally lost my copy in a bitter custody of the CDs battle in a long forgotten realtionship so when this turned up on eBay I had to have it.

Its not just the one song that makes this album though even if the Crash Test Dummies may have been an MTV one hit wonder the other songs have a dark humour to them which I still enjoying listening to now. The deep Canadian voice of Brad Roberts's is one of the most distinctive sounds of the 90s scene. You KNOW its the Crash Test Dummies as song as the lyrics start.

A blast from the past to be sure for us 'oldies' but definitely something for those that missed the 90s to get hold of a copy of.

this cd is an excellent album from a great band, but i think its one of those that you either love it or hate it .i would say give it a try you never know .

i loved this cd, had it on cd years ago and found it on cd on ebay, great cd which is in excellent condition.

I originally had this album bought for me when it came out but it was then stolen when my car was broken into a while later. Upon purchasing my ipod, I riffled through my CD collection to download everything onto itunes, found the cd box but no cd in it as it had been nicked. Went straight onto ebay, found it going for a song, and bought it without any hesitation. Superb eerie voice of the lead singer, brilliant lyrics and great music - a worm's life (the follow-up album) does not come close unfortunately. mmm mmm mmm mmm
