Craig David - Trust Me

Obviously it's been 2 years since we last saw an album from Craig David before this and I have to say that I have been a fan of all 3 previous offerings.
His new album has the usual variety of sounds, though this one more than previous albums, including the dance tunes to the ballads. So nothing new there then...
However the difference with this album is in the way that this variety of sound is moulded into individual tracks. For instance 'Hot Stuff', which has charted as a single, has an both an R&B/Pop feel but is mixed with a cover of an 80's song and has some smooth vocals.
As usual the reason I like this album is you can't help but sing along to the majority of the songs even if you don't like them first time around. I would say not quite as good as 'Born to do it', bouncier than 'The story goes...' and much more down to earth than 'Slicker than your average'. 7/10.
