Constantine is fighting a continuing battle against Demons - His ability to see Both Demons and Angels is due to being what's known as a halfbreed - part Angel or Demon. Constantine was born with the ability to detect these unrealistic beings which led him to belive he was insain and leading to a suicide attempt. This suicide attempt left him hanging in Hell untill the doctors revived him.... He journeys now through our world doing what he can to help the Angelic side and hampering the Demons........Most of what he does is now to curry favour with God for otherwise he is facing a return Hell and as Satan holds a personal grudge against him he needs to do much...
