I saw this movie in a multiplex, the moment it started and till it end, I was laughing and enjoying.
gyes laughing sometimes can be a result of tickling as well but the movie has real life emotions which are so natural that I loved it. Isla Fisher is amazing and so her new boss in the movie. a great entertainment indeed. the best part was the animation done on maniquins, never seen before.
buying a DVD as well for future enjoyment.

Young shopaholic Rebecca needs a job to pay off her maxed out credit card. She wishes to work for Vogue-like Alette but finds a job at a financial magazine at the same publishing company. She falls for her boss Luke Brandon however another employee Alicia Billingto wants him too.
A light mooded film, bubbly and full of fun. Isla Fisher plays the character very well with her nice bubbly personality.
A film for any fan.
I saw this film at the cinema and i didn't stop laughing all the way through it. I think Isla Fisher is a very good actress and this film i feel is one of the best films she's ever done. I doubt they could of found a better actress to play this character as well as she did.
I would recommend this film to anyone

) I missed seeing this in the cinema so i bought this on DVD for a girls night in. Its really funny, a good easy watching DVD. It follows the stories written by Sophie Kinsella, it takes stories from a number of the books. Its better to watch the DVD or read the books, you cant watch the film after reading the books as the stories are jumbled together, and if you read the books after the film you know whats going to happen in the stories. This film is good for a film you dont have to consentrate on, its not very deep. I prefered the books.

I have never been a very girly girl but I have always loved shopping. I had just about cured my adiction to shopping until I saw this and then I just had to buy the dvd and soundtrack!

Why i went along to see this "Chick Flick" I honestly have no idea, in fact i might even go as far as suggesting having a Full frontal Lobotomy before putting yourself through a film i found to be sheer torture, nonsense & drival.
I should imagine that it was aimed at pre teen girls.
The films one saving grace is its star Isla Fisher...what a total BABE !!

Very good MovieI really enjoyed this movie. it was quirky and funny with a bit of romance and real life situations. I have read all the books by Sophie Kinsella and was very excited about the movie, and while I still enjoy the books better, it also didn't let the books down.

I heard the film was good, so decided to buy it. The seller was quick at delivery and the postage and packaging was free, which was a big bonus for a new film. It was brand new cd and works brillantly.

This is probably one of the worst and most over-hyped films that I have ever come across. The plot is virtually non-existant and there are too may random things happening in the film which did not seem relevant to the story line or simply had no detail or substance to it. Although Isla Fisher's performance here is not in doubt, she is the only character in the film that you would care about, this is a classic case of Americans taking a British story and turning it completely on it's head with plastic acting and truly awful slapstick comedy sequences. Some of the characters were so banal and pointless that most of the film did not even make sense. I thought that the moving manequins were the real stars of this deadful effort. 0.5/10
