Compaq NC6000 (dj256a) PC Notebook

Great notebook built well and has a serial port which many notebooks lack apart from expensive high end makes & models. Ideal for garages, engineers any application where serial programming is required. any notebook under 2Ghz is fine for serial use. Very happy with the NC6000 easy to fix faults does require fine soldering.

Looking for a laptop with a better processor found this advertised on buy now as I had been outbid a few times bought it.
It has proved to be a lot faster than what I had, done everything advertised and so far no regrets. Looks great even when closed
If any slight regrets possibly should have got bigger HDD but OK for now
Would recommend for home usage.

Fantastic laptop, has a screen, hard drive and keys which produce some fantastic symbols when pressed. The screen is full of colour and makes attractive sounds when required, thats the laptop not the screen. I think the best feature has to be the ability to fold the screen down when not in use, stunning idea.
