Okay for the money but a few design faults

I picked up a pair of these radios for work, mainly because they were one of the cheapest PMR 446 sets with "privacy" channels. They work well for the money but can be a bit irritating. I use them on a motorbike using "earhanger" earpieces rather than as walkie talkies.
The negatives;
The earpiece socket is 2.5mm rather than the normal 3.5mm so you need to buy earpieces specifically for these radios.
There is a battery indicator but it only seems to come on shortly before the radio dies.
The lock button on the front doesn't lock the volume keys which are quite chunky & tend to get pressed easily in a pocket
The default vox setting is off, when you insert an earpiece it puts the radio into permanent broadcast, you then can't operate the buttons on the radio until the earpiece is removed (took me a while to figure this out!) You then have to set the vox to on before inserting the ear piece. You have to do this every time the radio has been switched off & on again.
I find the volume through an earpiece too high even on the lowest setting, I have to wear an earplug to reduce the volume & make it bearable.
The good stuff; the radios came with 2 sets of rechargeable batteries & a charger, the battey life in receive mode tends to be around 6 - 8 hours, the sound quality is pretty good and the range is adequate for what I need.
For £30 they are pretty good and are okay for what I need.
