walkie talkies were v good - easy to use, good range. unfortunately in areas with a lot of other walkie talkie users, other conversations were picked up. the european adaptors supplied with the walkie talkies did not work - the biritsh 3 pin plug did not fit into them!

) it says on description upto 5km range,could not even reach 1 mile without loosing signal .that was on a open straight road with no obstructions

Technical notes
) My sons are keen on walkie-talkies so I decided to buy a good pair. The casing is solid enough (already been put to the test) and the range is fair (no one should expect to reach the distance stated - 5km - even in open field). For this contributes the poor quality batteries that come with the set (600 mha), that can't hold the charge for long... so I had to buy six more batteries of 1000 mha, and they are great (brand "Uniross"). In spite of this, the product itself complies with the desired using.
