Cobra, Sylvester Stallone, Brigitte Neilsen

For me, this has been a film I have long wanted to watch yet have always seemed to overlook. Whether I have seen it on sale for a couple of pound or had an opportunity to watch it on terrestrial television, I have consistently either left it where it was (having meant to return to it before buying other things) or just forgotten that it was on.
Cobra is a violent, action-packed film - there's no doubt about it - dripping with machismo, posturing and poor dialogue to boot. Stallone spends the entire film wearing a pair of shades, mumbling through most of his script with a match in the corner of his mouth, and doing very little else other than appearing invisible to enemy fire whilst being incapable of missing his own targets. Well, the British soldiers know exactly what good shots (no spelling mistake) they are, don't they?
The only redeeming quality was Brigitte Neilsen. No, she can't act, but back then she was still beautiful, had an incredible figure, and kept me in an upright position for most of the movie.
I'd rate it at around a 5 out of 10. When Brigitte Neilsen appears in a photo-shoot, it goes right up.
