I think this BBC series is an excellent adition to your DVD collection.
Probably more suited to younger viewers than the new film, it tells the enchanting story well.

After seeing the first dvd of the Lion the withch and the wardrobe i was a little apprehensive of watching this version as i thought the old version was OK but not great, When i watched this film i was blown away, its 10 times better than the first version.I think this is a great family film and definatly one to watch,i think the children are great actors and when the lion dies it is so sad but you arnt sad for long. Great stunts and great scenes recommended......

my 3 children loved watching narnia it was an olerd copy of what they watched now but it was fantastic they were glued to their seats eatin pop corn and it was my best buy for a while thankyou ebay

I BOUGHT THIS FOR MY DAUGHTERS BIRTHDAY AS SHE HAS WANTED IT FOR YEARS. IT CAME IN A COUPLE OF DAYS AND WAS IN EXCELLENT CONDITION. VERY PLEASED WITH TRANSACTION.

Not as visually stunning as the Disney version and Lucy is incredibly slappable, but this version sticks faithfully to the original dialogue and action in the CS Lewis novel.

I bought this version to study the Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe with my Year 5 English group. In this repsect it's miles better than the Disney version

I have heard so much bout the lion the witch and the wardrobe for years so i thought i would get it for my grandson he,s only 21/2yrs old , well he thoroughly enjoyed it and especially he bit abot the wee boy getting all the turkish delights very enjoyable and i think all children should see this liz

I brought this dvd because i loved the narnia series that was on tv, watched them all the time while i was growing up and when i saw this was coming out i wanted it! it is really good, just like the story with new twists and the actors are brilliant. even the beavers are good. so buy this dvd, you wont be disappointed!

i have like this flim for years,it is one of thoese flim that will never date when you watch it you miss bits so have to watch it again,never get tired of seeing it.

Its a timeless classic with great graphics and it was good to share the same film with my daughter that I loved as a child! I wasn't so sure about the graphics on the lion though he didnt have the "realness" that he did in the first one.

This DVD is great and took me back to my childhood when I first watched it on the telly.
A must buy for anyone who loves their fantasy programs and films.

this item come very quick. i got this for my little sister because she love watching narnia. this person got there money fast and then sent my dvd to me then next day. i will get thing from this person again because they anwser me stant away

I dont reall like much about it because i seem to have bought the wrond dvd which in this case is not the sellers fault as i did not read the item desciption properly.

I purchased this dvd as a birthday gift for my daughter, and she would not stop going on about it. The price of the dvds in the shops are quite expensive so I decided to look on ebay and then bought. The dvd arrived as promised excellently packaged and was as described and was probably as good as if I had bought it in the shops. My daughter loved it as a gift.

I read the book when i was younger and i was transfixed in it. THis is a film for all people who would like to believe that there is a magic place in all of us. The film takes you through all emotions like, fantasy because we fantasize about our own magic place, also its a story that we could all relate with. I wouldn't say its the best film ever but you could defintely sit with a loved one and get tangled up in the story lines. I had to buy this film cus im a lover of fantasy films and if your one too then i recommend this film

Having read the CS Lewis Books as well as watched the original films before this new film went into production.I have to say i was a bit unsure of what it was going to be like and could this new film pull it off.
Well for me i was pretty surprised how good it was,and was very impressed by the young actors in the film and the special effects.My Niece and Nephew enjoyed it and so did i.This film caters for all ages and i would defiantly recomend it
