Christine (DVD 1999)

Absolute classic, still a great film even though its showing its age. Car restoration, Dodge Chargers and some killings - it doesnt get any better than this!

if you like stephen king this must be one of the classic to watch been looking for ages for this on dvd to complete my collection and i finally have it. if you like american muscle (old school) this is a great film

Adapted for the screen from the novel by Stephen King and directed by John Carpenter, Christine is the story of a young man who buys his first car, a beaten up, almost dead, 1957 Plymouth Fury. What the young man doesn't realise (at first),is that the car is alive and is hell bent on seeking revenge upon all those who have trodden on its new owner.
Great fun. Put it on the dvd player and leave it on whilst your nieces and nephews cry like apes at the prospect of possessed vehicles rampaging through the streets.

Love the film, the characters, the car,what more can i say!!!!
But the book does explain the history of 'Christine' a lot better, so any fans of the film should definitely have alook at the book.

This is a well written(original book by Stephen King) film , excellent direction , one of those films you can watch many times, the music is blended in very craftily , creating a really spooky film .

i wanted Christine on DVD and thats what i got.. good film. errrrr thats why i brought it. if i didnt like it i wouldent have brought it. blar blar blar....... lol

My sister seems to like it, I never watched the film myself but she came to me one day and asked if I cud get it on ebay and there u go I got it for her and now she loves it and I havent had any complains for her

I bought this item for a good friend of mine who loves the film. I bought it for valentines day and it was a success. The dvd was fantastic and the transaction was great.

A kid, Arnie (Keith Gordon) inherits a car "Christine" with a dubious past. Poor thing needs some loving care. Parents say dump her. However Arnie is determined to fix her up even at the expense of his girl Leigh (Alexandra Paul) and despite the money grubbing garage owner. How will Christine respond to those who rival for her affection and those that despise her good looks?
She gets herself in to more tight spots. After each cursing experience Christine rebound with new enthusiasm (and a new paint job.) And talk about loyal to those who love her. Everyone knows that possession is nine points of the law; Christine had many points. This may have been the first car with an adjustable steering wheel.

Talk about fatal attraction.

I thought this film was proper mint. I knew what to expect as I used to watch it when I was younger. But I still think it is brill. It is a must watch for Stephen King fans!

bought this dvd as part of updating my collection, still got the original on vhs, its just a great film you can watch over and over again, everyone loves a denomic car, and the red plymouth fury done it in style. Great stuff..........

i thought the film was class i wish i had a car that could fix itself lol it wasn't scary but it was very funy loved it

I decided to buy the christine dvd after seeing the film on tv i loved the car the charicters and the music and have seen other great movie by this director to
so had to add it to my dvd collection a definate must see for all.

One of the main reasons that I bought this film was I love Stephen King so much. I so far own all of his books and decided it was time to start collecting the films that correspond to those.

It was a very long time ago that I watched the film and read the book, but as I remember it it's all about a car. It goes crazy and starts killing people. It might be time to watch it again and then I will be able to leave a better review for you shortly.

Marty the High school geek turned super cool and the talk of the school, All because of his ever changing car (Christine) this stuning plymouth fury is fantastic but has a spooky twist?. This film is truly universal and if your a king fan this will compliment your King collection.

I bought this film because I had seen it years ago and wanted my car mad 20 year old son to see it. Just loved the Plymouth Fury, hated the swearing, far too much of that in films I think.

Excellent old film now on DVD i love the film and car in it. The acting for its year is good and so are the effects. well worth buying and value for money
