Christina Aguilera - Stripped (CD 2002)

This album is one of i kind, i think. Not only does she have a FANTASTIC voice, she isn't someone who makes music just to fit in. If you've listened to her first album, you would already know that she mainly sings about boys and love, but in STRIPPED she wrote everything so that it was more personal and stands out from her first album. She done this BRILLIANTLY. Every track on this album is a part of her and i find that GREAT. Each song on the album is different: CAN'T HOLD US DOWN is a hip-hop/r'n'b track, which is said to be the stand out track of the album. WALK AWAY is a mellow, yet a MIND BLOWING ballad. FIGHTER, my FAVOURITE, is a loud, empowering song and definatley a OUTSTANDING performance given. INFATUATION is a latino-love song that X-tina actually went through with her first love. LOVING ME 4 ME is another mellow ballad which is just beautiful to listen to. IMPOSSIBLE christina teamed up with ALICIA KEYS to perform this track, BRILLIANT. Track 10, UNDERAPPRICIATED, is a song about a couple who have drifted apart and hardly talk anymore. BEAUTIFUL is said to be X-tina's best ballad ever, this song is another emowerment song that can lift anyone up when their down. MAKE OVER, i find is an unusual song because it is a hard song to get used to but when you do you can't get enough. CRUZ, another wonderful ballad. SOAR is a song about fitting in and how sometimes it just isn't neccersary. GET MINE, GET YOURS and DIRRTY are quite similar, they are both quite raunchy and just EXCELLENT songs. Her final 3 songs: THE VOICE WITHIN, I'M OK and KEEPON SININ' MY SONG are 3 great ballads to finish a great album. Look out for the chilling message in I'M OK.
