Christina Aguilera - Stripped (CD 2002)

There's no doubting this girl can sing a bit, there are some great songs here, "Beautiful" is a modern classic (At least it was until a mate called Steve sang it at a karaoke!).
She is very beautiful and extremely talented, well worth a listen.

i dont know if im the only person that realised, but the change in Christinas imgage from her teenage 1st album into the 'dirrty' 2nd album was a big 1. Soon after that song, she seems to have turned again into a 1920;s jazz dancer. The album is good.

Christina Aguilera’s Stripped is hard to believe it’s only her second album. She’s tossed a side her squeaky clean, teen pop image and now all grown up into a sophisticated Diva with a lot to say.
We originally bought this CD when it was first released in Oct 2002 and played it to death in the car. Had a problem with the CD player and now Stripped is trapped in the car hence purchasing another.
This amazing CD is like a naked confessional; she has an incredible powerful voice giving every track her all, whether it is sad and chilling or strong and feisty. You have to have respect for this now international superstar.
There are no fillers on this CD, you will not be disappointed.
Overall this CD is fantastic, it is impeccable and I would definitely recommend to all.

Christina has well & truly delivered in this album...She has displayed her talent & vocal ability to the max...I wasn't a fan of Christina's in the beginning but i have definitely been persuaded by her sheer talent....Absolute gem of an album!! A great big thumbs up!!!

This is Christina Aguilera's 2nd album however it it the 1st album where her own views were inputted in to creating the record. This is evident as it is her 1st album where her amazing voice is really given the opportunity to shine. With her wide vocal range and catchy, soulful lyrics Xtina's album has self-love tunes like 'beautiful' and 'the voice within' and feel-good dance tunes like 'dirrty' that can really liven up a bad day or make a good day even better! An excellent buy!

This is a good album, i like a few songs on there a bit disappointed by a few, but overall its a good album.

One of the Disney Club Kids.... something I'm sure Christina Aquilera would love to forget.... and if that is the case then this 2002 CD certainly removes her from that sweet candy image. Christina knows how to get DIIIRTY and believe me this album pushes the limits.

Christina did all this long before Britney Spears (another Disney Club member) did it and became so popular. Christina Aquilera has always had a far better vocal range than Britney Spears and perhaps its their history with the Disney Club that makes people want to compare the two. My reason is simply that Chistina is far better. Listening to this album can only prove that. Stripped covers so many aspects of Christina Aquilera that makes me wonder why we don't hear more of her. Britney makes all the headlines for the wrong reasons. Funny that when bad girl Christina keeps out of the headlines. Here she proves she has the voice, character and sex to leave her mark on the music industry. This is so far removed from her first album... aptly named Christina Aquilera. Stripped is just that 'stripped to the bone'. Christina has never sounded better.... proof? listen to "The voice within" , "Beautiful" or "Keep on singing my song".

"I'm Ok" is simply beautiful considering its sad content. Here Christina really proves her worth vocally as she does on "Keep on singing my song". So.... without going through every track and singing her praises I'd prefer to let Christina Aquilera do that. Buy this album.... its available quite cheaply on ebay and listen to Christina. This hopefully will spur you on to put aside any prejudice you may have and get you to buy more Christina Aquilera. Your music collection needs this album and you never know, you just may become a big fan. She deserves it and you deserve to hear this album.

Love this album so much, this is the third time I've bought it because every time i move house, I lose it.

This is one of my favourite albums ever. It's the third time I've bought it as I've played the last two too much!A beautiful and soulful album thats very fun and funky at times but also has some very difficult subjects. You can listen from beginning to end and literally, dance, scream, cry and smile through it.

liked item, item was described as new and sealed but when i recieved item there was a crack on the case although it was new and sealed there was nothing to say item had a crack on casing bit misleading other than that item is great.

This is a brilliant CD with my favourite track - beautiful which i find tops the album off unfortunately my own copy got played so much the scratches made it unbearable so i have had to get a replacement.

This is the start of christinas best stuff,she leaves the girl behind and becomes a woman with really funky grown sounds,id go so far to say that this album would appeal to a really varied audience,you won,t ever feel embarassed to have this in your collection.

I bought this album when it first came out a few years ago and completely wore out my copy to the point of it wouldnt play any more! I have just bought another copy on ebay and dont regret it for a second.
