Chris Rea - God's Great Banana Skin (CD 1992)

An good album with plenty of good tunes. I like mostly his recordings from the 80's ans 90's this album is no exception. nothing to fear, too much pride and there she goes are good standout tracks.

Brilliant album. This album Has a mixture of eberyting some very good slow songs and some very good uptempo ones so it is a must for any body who likes Chris Rea. 10/10

I decided to buy this CD as I am a big Chris Rea fan,but the only recording I have of the tune is on an old Tape.The quality of the CD is excellent almost
unused .

Had all Chris's Albums on tape and now changing to CDs he is a must and I could not bear to be without his music and songs and what a voice. Can't be beaten+++

Chris Rea can do no wrong in my eyes and this album is absolutely great. He goes from the dramatic (Nothing to Fear) to quiet lazy blues (Miles is a Cigarette)so easily, and having heard his recent stuff (Stony Road and Blue Jukebox), you can see how he got to the jazzy blues from some of the tracks on Banana Skin. This is a must for every Chris Rea fan... have one in the car as well, its great to drive to!!
